As Abram comes to the land of Canaan, a Master revealed Himself to Abram. The Creator of the Universe reveals himself, and Abram worships him, and that begins their relationship.
This is the first altar that Abram builds, and the first time he calls upon the Name of the LORD. He would eventually be the friend of God. This gives us excellent lessons for our own walk with the LORD.
